Content Protection
← All documentationContent Protection adds a set of storefront-level deterrents against casual copying of your store’s content. It lives under Settings > Content Protection.
These are deterrents, not absolute protection. A determined visitor can always view page source or use browser tools that aren’t covered by a keyboard-shortcut block. Content Protection raises the bar for casual copying; it isn’t a guarantee against it.
Toggles (Basic and above)
- Content protection — disables text selection and copying on your storefront pages.
- Deactivate right-click — disables the right-click context menu on your storefront.
- Deactivate inspect — blocks the common keyboard shortcuts used to open browser developer tools (for example, F12 and the DevTools shortcuts in Chrome/Firefox).
Custom block-page templates (Premium and above)
On Premium and above, when a visitor is blocked by a rule from Block Rules, you can customize the page they see instead of the default block message — your own heading, body text, and colors.
